Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VeruMail (the "Service"), an email-authentication monitoring and analysis product. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
VeruMail monitors DMARC, SPF, DKIM and related email-authentication records for the domains you connect and provides AI-generated analysis and remediation guidance. Where you enable it, the Service can also apply configuration changes for you (see Section 5). Unless you use such a feature, you remain responsible for any changes you make to your own DNS and email configuration.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, are responsible for activity under your account, and must keep your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Free plan, trial, subscriptions and billing
New accounts include a 14-day trial with full access; no credit card is required. After the trial you keep a permanent free plan for one domain unless you subscribe. Paid plans (Standard, Pro, Enterprise and industry editions) and add-ons are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which acts as the seller of record and handles billing, invoicing and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting domains you are not authorized to monitor, attempting to disrupt the Service, or using it for unlawful purposes.
5. Automated DNS changes
Certain features can propose or, with your authorization, apply changes to the DNS records of domains you connect. By enabling such a feature you confirm that you are authorized to modify the affected domain, you authorize VeruMail to make the changes presented to you, and you remain responsible for reviewing proposed changes. Critical changes require your explicit confirmation before they are executed; the prior state is backed up and changes can be rolled back. We recommend reviewing your DNS configuration after any automated change.
6. Intellectual property
VeruMail and its content remain our property. You retain ownership of the data you submit and grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service for you.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". Email deliverability and inbox placement depend on factors outside our control, and we do not guarantee specific deliverability outcomes. AI-generated analysis may contain errors and should be reviewed before you act on it. The Service also depends on third-party infrastructure (such as DNS hosting providers, domain registrars and cloud platforms); we are not responsible for outages or failures of such third-party services.
8. Limitation of liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory under applicable law (including under the German Product Liability Act). In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you regularly rely), and such liability is limited to the damage that is typical for this type of contract and foreseeable at the time of conclusion. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms is Cologne, Germany.
